As the Covid-19 impacts school district plans, our programming will change for 2021 to protect student safety and support our district partners.

Learn About Essential Worker Care

Before/after care parents will not be charged for care during weeks of virtual learning.

Davidson County

MNPS will continue run virtual learning exclusively until the district's COVID tracker is under 7.0. Should Davidson not return to in-person learning, we will run Virtual Learning Care at no cost to children of essential workers through at least March 31.

Montgomery County

Montgomery County will run virtual learning through at least Jan. 22. Fun Company will provide Virtual Learning Care for free to children of essential workers.

Rutherford County

Rutherford County Schools are returning to in-person learning beginning Jan. 11. Before- and after-care is available at no cost for eligible Fun Company families through our DHS-funded essential workers grant.

If you previously applied and were approved for the DHS grant, you do not need to reapply.

Sumner County

Sumner County is returning to a hybrid model beginning Jan. 11 and will reevaluate every two weeks. Before- and after-care is available at no cost for eligible Fun Company families through our DHS-funded essential workers grant.

If you previously applied and were approved for the DHS grant, you do not need to reapply.

    Parent Information

Parents who choose may opt out of the Winter/Spring for Fun Company; however, in doing so...

    • Parents forfeit their spots for 2021 for their children if they opt out.
    • Parents must re-register if they choose to opt back in and pay the $50 registration fee.
    • Parents who re-register are not guaranteed a spot, and if a site is past its capacity, they will be place on a first-come, first-served waitlist.
    • Parents will be refunded any remaining registration program fees they have paid, should they choose to opt out.
